FloorTown is TimberTown’s in-store flooring gallery where you’ll find an enormous range of Engineered Hardwood, Solid Hardwood, Luxury Vinyl Plank and Tile as well as Laminate Flooring options. We stock a huge range of brands and styles, including trims such as vents, stair nosings and transitions. We can also special-order almost any other kind of flooring product you may need, and have FREE take-home samples for every floor we stock.

Pro Guidance

Choosing and planning the precise style, layout and materials needed to complete a flooring project can seem quite challenging. But at TimberTown, you’ll get a Pro who will help succeed from start to finish - not only in choosing the style and supplies, but by guiding you, or your chosen contractor (and yes, we know many excellent independent flooring contractors if you’d like a referral) all the way through the project. Here are the typical steps:

Step 1

Meet Your Pro

Whether online or in person, you’ll have a seasoned TimberTown Pro who will guide you throughout your Project. You’ll also be able to easily access them by phone, email or in-store.

Step 2

Consult

Whether in-store or online, your Pro will help you select the floor style for your budget, plus the necessary underlay, trims and any delivery requirements. Your Pro will confirm your plan, materials list and budget for your approval.

If you’d rather not do your own installation, your Pro can refer excellent local independent flooring installers. In this case, you’ll buy your materials directly, and pay the contractor for their labour. Your Pro will then confirm your materials list and budget for your approval, and you can put down your deposit.

Step 3

Site Prep

From here, you can go ahead and begin preparing for your new floor by removing old carpet and baseboards. The TimberTown team will assemble and prepare all the parts of your order including installation instructions, keeping you apprised when the order is ready.

Step 4

Pickup or Delivery

Once ready, you or your contractor can pick it your new flooring, or we’ll arrange a time to deliver it to the main floor of your home. We can deliver to anywhere within the province of Alberta.

Step 5

Install

Installing a floor properly is quite a work of art, and labour of love. While your Pro will give you installation instructions based on your design, you’re also welcome to call them for guidance at any stage of the process. Once complete, your Pro can also help with maintenance products and warranty.
