We are locally owned, operated, and understand the Alberta market, providing you with quality products that are suited to our environment. TimberTown employees are proud to offer you quality products that they would be happy to install in their own homes.”

So what can TimberTown Building Centre Ltd. do for you? When having new flooring installed, who will remove and dispose of the old flooring material? Do you need new moulding & baseboard? We can help you work through the process.

Here’s our simple process:

1. Flooring Project Consultation

Start by selecting which flooring you will have installed in your home or office space. Installation costs vary based on the type of flooring and the method of installation. Once your flooring type has been selected, we can coordinate with an installer who will come to the job site for a measure up. Factors that will impact your installation quote include: size and shape of the area, number of stairs, baseboard removal/replacement, existing flooring removal/replacement, and waste disposal. The installation professional will determine how much product is required, any additional material that is needed such as Underlay, Floor Registers, Stair Nosing, Floor transitions, and when the project can begin.

2. Professional Flooring Installation

With consideration of the necessary acclimatizing time, arrange you have your product at the job site. If required, our Delivery Service is available. Our recommended Installation Professionals have references, insurance certificates, are currently registered and hold a clearance certificate with the Workers Compensation Board (WCB). This ensures a safe, professional work environment. We recommend that you ask questions and address any concerns or specials requests with the installer prior to installation. You may wish to see the floor dry laid before it is clicked, fastened or glued down.

3. Follow-up

Once the project is complete, review the site with the flooring installer to ensure that the work has been completed as agreed upon! We would like to hear about your experience and see photos of your newly finished space!
